L'apathie is an exploration on what it feels to feel nothing. It is an insidious thing, that once you have started, you cannot stop. Often it starts with, "Why care?" And grows until one lives in a sea of disinterest. I see apathy as central to the human condition because it is our safe haven. When we feel too much, when we are simply tired. The original work is 12" x 24" made from acrylic paint and mediums on canvas.
