La mélancolie is deep sorrow, peace, bittersweetness, joy, nostaliga, longing and grief in waves. It moves like the tide, pushing and pulling. Until one no longer knows how deep their sorrow is. It is deep as the ocean at times, but at others just as a puddle. It is a driving rain, that somehow started as a sun shower.
The original work is 10" x 20" made from acrylic paint and masking tape on canvas.
